Loop

Draw one closed loop that satisfies every numbered clue.

How to play

  1. Draw a single continuous loop along the grid edges.
  2. Each numbered cell tells you how many of its four edges the loop uses.
  3. The loop never crosses, branches, or leaves a loose end.

Techniques

Start at 0s and 3s

A 0 means X all four edges. A 3 next to a 0, or two 3s side by side, force most of their edges immediately — the classic opening.

Corners are constrained

A 3 in a corner uses both border edges; a 1 in a corner uses neither. Corner clues give free progress.

Follow the line

Every dot the loop visits has exactly two edges. When a line enters a dot with only one way out, it must take it — chains of forced moves close whole sections.

Example

┌─┐
│3│
· ·

A “3” cell uses exactly 3 of its 4 surrounding edges.

Tip · 0 and 3 clues and the grid corners are the safest places to start.
